I own a 97' Disco and am going to a junk yard today. The place is called pull-a-part where you can buy parts but not the whole car. What parts from a 2000 Disco 2 will fit on my disco?

 

Not that many. The center differential and shifter I think will.

The transfer case, the engine, maybe the outside mirrors, the paint will fit.

The DI and DII are two totally different animals.

 

Short block.

 

There are a few interior matches - center console, center dash facia (around stereo & heater, front seats, & misc switches. Don't forget to grab all the lug nuts if they are still there. Good chance pick-a-part didn't bother taking them off. If the computer & relays are still in the truck, grab em. They are a goldmine on ebay. It's rare that Rovers ever make it to the self service yards. When they do, it's your civic duty to rape the truck and then post the goodies here.
