That's good to know should it get to that. I also discovered that when I read the Suspension config on the non-SLS truck it showed Coil spring and when I went back into the screen that changes the setting it showed Air. I think this proves that the NT510 cannot change the setting, despite appearing that it can. It will accurately read the current setting but changing it is a red herring.
To put a close on this I've determined that the Foxwell NT510 is unable to write to the SLABS and change the suspension type. It pretends it can but all it can accurately do is show you what's programmed. I replaced the SLABS with a non-SLS unit from a 2000 and the NT510 initially told me I had Air, and continuing would change it to Coil, just like when SLS was in there and it actually was programmed for Air, but checking the Current Config (or whatever) shows this. The SLS SLABS showed Air for option [3] on this screen, the non-SLS correctly shows Coil. Confusing to say the least.
