This isn't going to be much help, it has to be off of one of the two valve cover hoses that go to the intake manifold.

There is a hose coming from the left valve cover to the top of the intake plenum, I replaced that hose but it does not appear to be a pcv there. There is some sort of nipple sticking out ot the hole on the valve cover and I can move it up or down but cannot remove it ftom the engine.
And of course I have missplaced my RAVE CD.

If you have a fair number of miles on your truck, you might want to go to Atlantic British and order the PCV set that Rover offers.

OK I just looked and all I need is the oil seperator. I already replaced the hose's and the seperator looks like what is sticking out of the valve cover.
AB wants $6 for that or $25 for the whole kit.
I will have to look at Auto Zone and see if they have one.
And the truck only has 170k on the clock Mike.

I hit the trails 2 weekends ago with a 96 D1 with 216,000 miles on it and it ran like a champ.

The wife and I picked up this D1 for a song this last April and have already put almost 20k on it and we offroad almost every weekend.
We bought it to keep it for life. With a aluminum body you can do that.
With proper maintanice and a little TLC the orignial powertrain should last at least to 250k, dont you think?

The seperator is the little end sticking out.
You can slowly move it back and forth at the same time pulling up
and it will come out and then just clean it with carb cleaner.
