I'm sorry that I enjoy a warm butt. Those would be pretty sweet to see here in the states...especially with heated seats!-- I can live with the crank windows--and all other things---but those seats are glorious!

In a Defender you are lucky to have power steering.
Vinyl seats, crank windows, no stereo, 5-speed, no arm rests, no a/c, no air bags, no ABS...the way it should be...

And a diesel!!

Looks like a good life, your dog rides in luxury, that should give you a good feeling, and that is good enough for me. Keep using it the way you are using it, or put a small rack that uses the receiver hitch to keep the dirty items out of your Rover.

My friend has one of those receiver hitch racks and we took it with us camping so we could haul some firewood. Between that rack, my brothers 5x8 trailer and the rubber mat in the back I haven't found anything I couldn't haul with the rover. When I'm finished I just vacuum out the back. I really enjoying having a vehicle I get a lot of use out of.

Lastest defenders have heated seats / screens / leather / aircon etc etc.......still like a tractor tho LOL.........

And a 130" defender is to long for offroad use.......110" MAX imo.......

"if" I ever bought one, and that would be as a "toy" only, then a Tomb Raider would be what I would look for!! either 90 or 110
