Default Performance & Fuel Economy Chip Module

I was wondering if anyone has every connected a Performance and/or Fuel Economy Chip module onto the ECU unit on the Disco II???? Does it work???

I can see you getting more performance (just burning more air/gas raito) but I can't see getting performance and fuel economy at the same time.

I read on ebay for this DVM chip it will save you gas and increase performance. I personally think its BS.

Any advice or insight would be appreicated.

Thanks

I don't believe you'll notice much performance increase.
You'll just end up with a Disco that runs really rich, these are gunky engines to begin with.
I wouldn't recommend using any performance chip on this vehicle.

If you're seeking to improve performance, start with Plugs and Wires.
Get a better air filter, do an induction cleaning... That's about it unless you're looking to spend big bucks.

No, they never work. Don't spend money on it.

Does anyone have any experience with changing the parameters of the computer for optimized performance with an autologic unit?
