Hi.
so, I recently finished Mikes 100k maintenance list, and got my 02 back on the road after 3 years in storage! love this rover!
anyway, this is probably nothing, but wanted to see what you all think.
now that my driveway is completely free of stains and spills from the 100k maintenance service, I noticed the other day a dripping of clear liquid coming from about amidships. upon inspection, it looks to be coming from a rubber nipple located on the passenger side of the tranny hump close to the downstream o2 sensor harness connection.
Is this just a body drain port? seems to have been dripping from there consistently for the past several days.
if this is the case, is there a way to clean/blow out that port so whatever water is trapped in there clears more quickly?
after all that effort on the 100k+ tires+newkeys+door lock actuators, etc... I'd like to avoid rust if at all possible.
Thanks much!
AC drain, I cleaned mine out last year with a screwdriver and pick. I would recommend doing the same thing as a bunch of mud was stuck in mine and could have potentially clogged the drain and caused a back up.
I remove the dang nipples. They clog way to easy!! If a spider wants a bath they can crawl up it anytime they want & have a fun slip n slide kinda ride on the way out lol.
“If” you prefer to keep the nipples you simply squeeze it & it will pop out so you can clean them.
The Demon is currently sitting with the doors open and the carpet drying because of those nipples. I suggest keeping them clean. Dirty nipples are no fun.

It took me a week to fully dry out my truck last summer. And I had to pull up all the carpets. I was amazed how much water the padding was able to hold.
