Default Picked up a new (to me) D2

After an exhausting search I finally have a found a decent 2004 D2 in my area. There is some rust and but everything is mostly in good shape. Best part is that it has a top hat rebuild in it with 80k miles. Body has about 210k. It runs and drives but seems to have a failing alternator. It’s an HSE7 with Alpaca interior. Would have preferred an SE but pickings are slim. Going to start to tear into it Over the next few days to look for any surprises. I’ll start a build thread to turn this into an overlander. New front and rear bumpers, roof rack, 2 inch lift, etc.

Thanks! I will have to patch up the rear frame as it’s just starting to swell a bit but the rest of the frame is in good shape. The seller also had almost complete service records going back to 2012. He was the 2nd owner.

Nice score! I like the color, too.

I saw your classified for the rear jump seats. Mind updating with some tips once you do the conversion to the standard trim? Considering doing the same.

I have a build thread going. I’ll update that thread with some info. There are a lot of parts involved. The trickiest bit is going to be capping off the AC lines.
