Default Picture Question Discovery II

Hi,
I took some photos and seems like something is missing with this connection. Can anyone comment if this is the proper setup on Discovery II? On picture one, cables are connected from the throttle, but somehow it seems that its not connected to the other end (pictures 2 and 3). This end also is capped and facing a black round saucer like plastic right beneath the cooling reservoir. Thanks

Should be attached to your cruise control diaphragm...

unless I am misinterpreting the pics.

Jami, thanks. Does it have a clip or lock? Is the cruise control diaphragm the black plastic thingy? The end of the cable goes inside the black plastic too?

I did misinterpret your pictures a bit. the end of the throttle cable doesn't attach directly to the diaphragm. It attaches to a bracket near the front of the rubber part. I attached a pic that show's it.
