How many months ago did the dealer do the repairs???????

 

Well I think thats what is going to be the biggest problem Mike. I had the upper hose replaced at the beginning of september (so about four months ago) and I had been loosing coolant ever since, but I chalked it up to my bad throttle body gasket. I know they are going to say well you never told us anything was wrong so its not our fault. As for the head gaskets, they were done about 3 years/50,000 miles ago by land rover, but not the same dealer that I had the hose replaced at.

Today I went over to a local shop to have the coolant pressure tested but they werent able to take me. The mechanic did come out though and took a look at the truck and said that there is something going on although it doesnt look that bad. He took a look at the oil and said that it didnt have any coolant in it (or at least not that much). He proposed that it could even be the intake manifold gasket, but I'm not sure if I trust him because I dont think he has ever worked on a Land Rover. Could this be a possibility? Whats my next step? Do i go into Rover accusing them of stuff? Thanks for all the help

 

Don't have any work done on it till they can varify the location of the leak.
The dealer won't step up to this, should have gone rioght back to see him.
