Back in April or so I bought a 01 D2 the interior was in perfect condition however it had no engine when I bought it…
I was able to track down and purchase 2 motors and pieced together my engine with the best parts both motors had to offer since then I’ve replaced the fuel pump, xyz, starter, crank sensor. Still no start but it will start momentarily on starter fluid

PROBLEM: I have a crank with no start none of my fuel system is working I have no power to my fuel pump I have no fuel injectors firing however I have power at my fuse box (if I checked correctly) I’m really wanting to get this thing going please help me

 

My first guess is the inertia switch needs to be reset. On the bulkhead at the back of the engine compartment.

 

Jumper the fuel pump relay, make sure the fuel pump runs. Check the pressure on the fuel rail.

 

Crank position sensor installed correctly? I believe it’s spacers on the outside of sensor.

 

I hate to contradict abran, who is a legend here but isn't often seen lately, but if the engine starts even briefly with starter fluid the problem is not the CKPS. If the CKPS were the problem there would be no spark.

 

Actually thats incorrect, a bad Ckps shuts off fuel, not spark. They do that so the engine is not hydrolockwd in a failure event.

 

I tried this and the fuel pump does run when I jump it and I have fuel pressure on the rail when I do it

 

I tried jumping the switch I heard a click in the fuse box when I did and tried to start still nothing

 

Yes I made sure all 3 spacers were on the 10mm one on sensor and the 2 on the 8mm bolts
