So my ScanGaugeII Stoped working and there is no warranty on it... has anyone heard of the Kiwi MPG? It does a lot of the same stuff from what I can tell, I'm hoping someone else can chime in and let me know something else about it.

I have never heard of this one, what specifically are you looking for, either way, kind of expensive just to tell you your mileage unless you use a lot of it's other features.

 

well, it does coolant temp and throttle position similar to the SGII, and its cheaper than the SG.. i just don't want to spend $90 on a hunk of crap ya know. It will check and clear the codes as well...

Mainly wanted to see if anyone has heard of it before or even used it..

Over a year ago I spent a great deal of time looking into both of these. I since then forgot the benefits of each. I remember the kiwi seemed more like a toy, at least the other model where it kinda teaches you hot to drive as effeciently as possible. It costs a little more.

The scangauge seems a little more industrial and if I remember correctly, it was able to give you more information?

 

Yeah, SG does give you more info.... it cost more too. all in all, you probably get what you pay for, at least thats what a friend of mine told me!
