Default Three amigo's anyone?

Well I had the darn things scanned and the mechanic told me my modulator circuit board was faulty. They cleared the left rear sensor and no more amigo's! Should/could I repair the modulator or if I have to replace it any advice? Thanks a ton - RR.

yeah see www.landroverclubvi.com/

it has Josh's write up on the modulator fix.

what were the exact codes that were being pulled off the ABS system? you need to make sure that is what is wrong with your truck.

Thanks Ed, my mechanic said it might be as simple as clearing and recalibrating the left rear sensor. He also cleared and reset the celenoid in the modulator. He said if it happens again and if it's the same read he would start with replacing the sensor and go from there. All I know is there is no more amigo's ...for now. - RR.

Just a hunch but if its the left front sensor output you may need a new hub.Or you can be like me and just ignore your amigos like I do my ex wife.

your mechanic doesnt know what he is talking about.

next time your abs light comes on three amigos or not get the abs codes read by your mechanic and bring us the exact codes. or by yourself an ABS amigo and pull the codes yourself. it may not be a shuttle valve problem but as devildog said the sensor itself of the hub. could also be the rotor or brake dust...
