Por 15
I had a look under the truck while trapped in lock down, and saw bugger all rust anywhere, as a preventative is the por15 still the good stuff ?
the guys that did the service before I bought the truck do classic cars, and offer the spray on as a service, as I don’t have a hoist myself is it worth the money , would they have to wire brush or anything to prep the surface ?

I did not like POR15 at all. it was more of a plastic coat that peeled off eventually, even with good prep! I have been prepping the metal to good area as possible, rust mort, cleaning again, followed by good primer, then good paint, then oil based 3M undercoat (like firm tar). I have taken several vehicles to truck undercoating local retailer as well. They did a hot power wash, acid wash (like rust mort) , and then a heavy duty oil based undercoat.....

Then hit with wire wheel
I use this to coat the bare metal

I coated my truck a few years back with por15 and you need like perfect prepping because it started to peel off after about a year and was chalky and did not look good and I just redid it using Eastwood rust encapsulated platinum and top coated using the chassis black and it looks really great. I used the scaling tool that someone just posted earlier and it was a blessing taking off all the surface rust but what I found out happened was the por15 lifted off the surface and held in moisture so it was coming off in chunks along with metal I was pretty upset to see it but glad I removed it before it got worse. The thing is the platinum series of paints only comes in silver which was perfect because i like doing the two tone silver and black so I painted everyone once with the encapsulated then top coated just certain parts
