Well Iv'e known for sometime now that near the battery terminal the positive battery cable its deteriorating. Have had the new part and a new Duralast Gold Battery (personal preference, have had great experience with them and can't afford the thought of aOptima battery) for a few months now just lazy to install. I know I have to do this before winter though. The battery looks old and would just rather replace it the do a load test on it and be confident come winter. So I'm asking any of you if you have had the pleasure of dealing with the positive cable near the starter. I have the service manual buthavn't looked into it. Iv'e heard dealing around or with the starter is tricky. Anyone have any experience in that area or replaced their cable?Thinkin of doin it this weekend.
