Default Possible F2 (15A fuse) issue?

I have a 2001 D2 SE

I had a plethora of codes and been wrenching to a last about 5. They're all circuit shorts and pop the 15A F2 fuse - maf circuit shortage, camshaft sensor circuit short, evap..anyways I asked Doug over at Atlantic British and he said it sounds like the 5v lead for these sensors is damaged.

So I looked around and found this. It don't know what it is, can anyone ID it for me and tell me if this looks like it can be the culprit please? Of course any other suggestions on where to tackle my issue is welcome.

I have to go get fuses and figured I'd look to see if they have the connector as well (the grey one). What is the sensor that is melted and it connects to? I figure since its housing has been compromised I should replace it as well. Let me know what you think. Thanks guys!

Edit:
I should add that it runs really rich. I imagine the cpu is compensating. Also if it happens to be any coincidence, the dash LCD light went out (but the gauge lights are still on and dim), and my drivers side window doesn't work. I doubt they are related but anything is possible.

Been Googling and can't locate an AMP 347882 connector to purchase....

PA66 = Glass fiber reinforced Nylon. It's a thermoset polyamide with ranging glass fiber reinforcement from 10-30% (by volume, not by weight)

lol that doesn't you with the part at all, but it certainly helps alleviate that from being a part marking

That red wire doesn't look the greatest either

If I remember correctly that brown wire with the pink tracer powers to most of the engine sensors?
I don't recognize that plug maybe something related to SAI which I don't have.

Check your O2 sensor wires too, I had one that had melted and was shorting out on frame and blowing fuse.

I'll have to follow that brown/pink wire and see if that gets anywhere. I just replaced the four O2 sensors however this problem existed prior to the install.

I've been trying to find that AMP connector but am having no luck. I did see on Jag that they share the same connector. But no one has mentioned where to find. I checked mouser and digikey with no luck.

Thanks foe the replies guys. Anyone has anymore ideas please chime in!

Looked at my D2 earlier. Only item looking similar was on DR side of engine. Manual reference indicated it may be the SAI conrtol solenoid? My wire colors looked different than yours but LR never really documented their wiring diagrams or manuals to give much info on SAI.

Yea that is the drivers side. My assembly there just hangs out dangling hence why it got burned. If ot issue the SAI controller that would be one of the culprits as I have an SAI circuit short code as well.

I have to locate one of them now haaha.
Thanks!!

Have you looked around the vicinity of its reach to see if you can locate a place where it could plug in? Finding where it goes to would probably help you find a replacement because then you could pull one from a wrecked vehicle with the wires attached.
The white part of that plug is very similar to the connectors used for the coil packs. The only part I can see that is missing is a wire retaining spring that would normally sit in the channel near the mouth of the plug.
