Default Possible lift 1" or replace factory suspension

I am pondering the idea of adding a 1" lift or replacing the factory suspension as its 13 years old. She is my daily and doesn't see any aggressive trails. Looking for the best bang for my buck using quality parts, any advice from folks who have gone either route on what I should consider will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

at 13 years old you stock suspension have probably dropped that much. you can measure from the centre of the HUB to the centre of the wheel opening, that will tell you how much it has dropped. if its your DD do not put off road or hd springs in it.

@drowssap- I will keep my eyes out for a good set of replacement springs and shocks. Thank you.

Lucky 8 has the original spec springs at a good price,

As said above your factory springs are probably shot. If you change the shocks and not the springs you will just beat the crap out of your new shocks and they will fail prematurely.

Ask me how I know... I've also learned that putting even medium duty OME springs on a daily driver gets a harsh ride unladen.

Not to mention if you go with offroad springs that's a two inch lift and you'll be wanting to buy (5) new larger tires to fill the space created.

If i were to do it again I would go with stock springs and Bilstein's.
