power seat issue

the power driver's seat in my 96 SE7 is malfunctioning... it will recline, go back and fourth, up and down, but will not raise up.

By this i mean, do the opposite of reclining. anyone know what could be up?

Probably just need to clean the contacts in the switch. Common for them to dirty up and fail.
