I have been using Royal Purple Max EZ after I replaced the pump. 3 years and 30k miles so far and no problems.

I was going to try this but my local AutoZone and Advance were out. I hear good things about it.

Apologies for the VERY LATE response, but not sure how much mechanic used after replacing the Steering Pump.

I did give him a full 12 oz bottle of Peak Full Synthetic European Power Steering Fluid, and he mentioned that he topped it off with similar product he had on hand.

So far steering has been fine since, although I know that steering box will need to be replaced sooner than later.
