Power steering pump died, got some questions
Long story short, my wife and I were in the mountains for a nice Friday night drive when there was a "pop" sound. When we exited the power steering was gone. Luckily I have guns that would make Arnold jealous and was able to get it into the gas station. But now I need to figure out how I can flush the whole system while I have it torn apart so that I don't risk damaging the pump. AlsoI have ACE, so I want to flush that as well.
Another note, AB mentions in their PS Pump replacement video that the Land Rover ACE fluid is necessary, but that stuff is expensive! Does anyone know if that's true?
