Having a hard time getting the upper-right bolt to the power steering pump to thread. I've got every other bolt in (the other 2 identical bolts, the stud that goes through the middle of the pump, and the smaller bolt on the top). I've tried loosening the bolts to provide some wiggle-room, tightening them, swapping out bolts to verify thread pitch, pry bars and everything inbetween. Any suggestions???

 

Engine lift?

 

Tried that already. The hole seems to be lined up...just won't thread.

 

Do you mean the bolt for the entire bracket, or the pump itself?
Either way, might be worth pulling the bracket off, (and pump out, if the bolt for into the pump) and trying with nothing in the way of the hole, just to make sure the threads are in good shape.

 

This is for the pump itself. Done...threads are good.
