Power transfer thru transmission issue
Need some help! pulled & rebuilt engine 03 D2, seems to run fine now; torque converter came out of trans when engine out, put back into place before learning about how to install/index it; remounted engine - everything seems back tight -- engine to torque convertor & engine to transmission housing are all tight together - no gaps;
engine runs & convertor spins, but no drive thru transmission; appears to not be moving at all internally when shifting thru gears -- doesn't seem to be any torque or movement thru trans or transfer case; worked fine b4 pulling engine to rebuild;
my 04 D2 w/ 94000 miles is running great, but need to get 03 going again; was ready to pull engine again to check torque convertor indexing to trans, but before that is there any other possibilities to check?
many thanks for all your help & advice!

No pressure. Be sure the pipe going into the pan of the transmission is tight.
Be sure that the transmission fluid hoses going to the radiator are not blocked.
The transmission switches via electrical signals.
Make sure your battery voltage is up.
Make sure no fuses are out and that the signals that hit the transmission have power.
Not sure anymore what unit pulls the valves electrically in the D2 - but that might not have power or be connected correctly.
Make sure fluid is up to the bottom of the fill hole.
As long as you did not force the torque convertor in and all the splines lined up
you should be good to go.
There is also an XYZ switch which probably got screwed up. Connects to the transmission selector cable. Make sure that is all set up properly.
