Power window motor gears are available to those who need them. They will be available on Ebay and this forum. Forum members price $6 plus $2 shipping.

Stripping of the gear teeth is the common fault. What you will notice if this part is faulty. Your window will get stuck in certain positions going up. You will need to assist the window in moving up. Save money with this new replacement part. No need to purchase a new motor. PM me for more details. See picture link below. The part is the large white plastic gear. Easy to remove and easy to replace.

Do you have available the gears for the sunroof motor for a D2?
Mine has stripped after getting a sticky sunroof.
