Praise and update
slowly checking things off the list....replaced rear air bags, changing out most of the fluids.....tonight i make smoke via induction/tb cleaning.....
but i must say, i am absolutely amazed at how well a stock d2 handles med/hard terrain! due to not having a lift on it yet...i have had to patiently watch others with more clearance do some nastier stuff....but when it comes to climbing......i have put others to shame!
from my limited time off-road so far, i have come to the conclusion that i think a front bumper, 16" wheels/tires and lift kit are first on my list....rear + roof rack to follow....
not excited about the money to be spent...but the adventures that will come will surely be well worth the investment...
any other "stock" d2 owners out there with stories of victory? or defeat.....
a little trail in socal......

Once we are up and producing that is, which should be soon.

nice stuff.....ill be interested in those bumpers too once u make some!
note to self:
do not clean inductor at 9:30pm in socal --- will result in 10mins of utter shame driving around frantically to avoid high traffic spots....
running nice though! time to keep running through the checklist.....
1) front drive shaft w/ serviceable ujoints
2) finish up fluid flushes/changes
i love this forum, saving me so much money!
ps -- if anyone in the socal (costa mesa, etc) area wants to hit a trail, let me know!
