I'm all for helping save the environment, but buying 'carbon credits' is a scheme set up by Al Gore.

Yes it is a scam. I dont know who started it though. I just thought that it was cool that a company that is thought of as one of the biggest polluters is actually one of the smallest.
They made real changes that could be done by any company.

Al Gore did not start carbon credits. What he does is buys and sells them likestocks.
Carbon credits are part of the Kyoto Project.

That's is pretty cool for any auto manufacturer. The dealership here in S.F. is the "city’s largest private enterprise" to generate almost all of their power needs from solar panels.

Global warming is real but its just a cycle, NOT caused by humans. The earth is a living organism, therefore it will recover from this just as our bodies recover from a cold. I agree that all the hype is just for politcal gain and blah blah blah, thousands of scientist have proven Global warming to be a myth more than anything. BUT that being said, this is 2008, we arent stupid, I dont want to walk outside and not be able to see 1 mile because of haze and other nasty crap. We have the ability to preserve our earth and keep it awesome for much longer.

Dont get me wrong, I beleive hybrids are the most flawed design and resolution to our problemand I think the environmentalist have gone way to far on many (almost all)issues. My idea of green is better MPG for cars and trucks(or no gas period), and greener real estate development (My long term goal after college is to change how commercial Real Estate is conducted), and last we just need to wise up and tread lighter. Forget not driving with A/C or using one square of toliet paper, just change a few things it will keep our earth cleaner and more importantly SAVE YOU MONEY in the long run.
