Probably Not Here To Stay - More Snow Pics

RE: Probably Not Here To Stay - More Snow Pics
We had snow here, (deeeeeeeep south Texas), in '04 on Christmas Eve. It was the first recorded accumulation in about 100 years. Everybody completely lost their minds. We invented Mexican snowboarding, which involved running at full bore with a boogie board to the edge of the slope in the city park and belly flopping onto it. Not quite the same as boarding in Santa Fe, but still fun. As a side note, palm trees look funny with snow on them.

It always amazes me how little snow it takes to completely paralyze the Denver area. A couple inches of snow and you would think the world just stopped. And the drivers are crazy. They either drive 100 mph or 10. They haven't figured out how to adjust to road conditions. Growing up in Alaska, I never knew what a snow day was until the army sent my dad to Virginia.
