Default PROPSHAFT COUPLING REPLACEMENT

I have a series 1 1994 disco that needs the main driveshaft coupling replaced. Its that little rubber part on the driveshaft and it is destroyed. It sounds like a spaceship taking off. Has anyone ever performed one of these replacements that has any advice for someone with little to no repair experience that is thinking about doing it themselves?

thanks

Default RE: PROPSHAFT COUPLING REPLACEMENT

This is from the RAVE cd for my D2, but basically the same procedures. I'm not sure how easily the center piece fits into the roto. Should only take 10 minutes to replace. Main thing is to get the arrows (the roto) facing the correct direction, just look before removing the current one.
