Default Rear Drive Shaft Flex Coupling Replacement Question

Will be replacing this shortly. Do I need to lube the center ring that comes with the coupling and bolts, or does it go on as is? Rave doesn't specify.

Thanks in advance.

certainly hope not.. as I did not when I did mine a few months back... My Mechanic friend who lets me do my work at his rover shop said that it was not needed, but I am certain that someone will say that you should. I did not no worries.

great, thank you. One more question. Did you need to use the LR driveshaft 9/16 socket tool, or could you is a standard 9/16 socket with an extender?

-----------

never mind. was just under the truck and realized it is a 3/4" bolt and nut.
