Propshaft Rebuilt... On to the next Question.
I Finally finished rebuilding my front driveshaft (never again, I'll pay someone next time). Made a HUGE difference. The truck feels so much smoother at all speed ranges.
Now, I have a few more questions.
1.) On my key/fob the key shaft is somewhat loose and can be pulled from the fob. Is it ok to just super glue it in there until I buy a replacement?
2.) On my fuel door, it doesn't seem to want to stay closed. If I bend the tab it doesn't close at all. But it is metal. I have a feeling there is a plastic piece or something missing that the actuator locks into?
Thanks for everyone's help so far. After the issues I had with the driveshaft and now finally having it back together I'm looking forward to fixing the nitty gritty.

When you buy the replacement just get the blank and plastic cover. Have the new key cut and swap out the inside of the remote to the new cover.

1: I dont know if it helps but I have glued mine in the past and it did not seem to make a difference but my disclaimer is that this was for my use
2: part number BPX700010 costs about $6. British parts utah have them. Clic on disco 2 the scroll down to body and chassis. Before fitting soak it in hot hot water as they break real easy when fitting them

After losing my key blade in 9" of snow several winters ago (only key, and I had to drive the wife's car for 3 days until the snow melted and I found the blade) I superglued the blade back into the fob. It has not fallen out of the fob since. I also had a spare key cut at a local locksmith.
