well I finally got around to fixing the coolant leak on the timing cover. man that was a lot of work for a gasket but the rain has stopped for now.......

Now my PS pump sounds like someone is trying to kill it when its cold. noise goes away when the truck gets warmed up 15- 20 mins later . I have had some noisy fords and Chrysler stuff but this one is the worst.............

 

My 99 has an extremely loud ps pump when it's started cold. I can usually turn the wheel all the way to each side once or twice and the noise goes away.

I know that's no fix but it beats listening to that horrible noise.
