I had to undo an aftermarket amp install and splice the entire wiring harness back together. These would’ve saved a lot of time. Loads of applications. Thought it’d be helpful to share.

Electrician here.
Not a fan of Wagos except when they're the only option. I've seen too many blade style connectors burn up, and DC power that issue is only exacerbated. Also no weather sealing.
Much recommend using heat shrink butt crimp connectors where possible. Over time the blades in Wagos and similar connectors lose tension, get loose, and start to get hot becoming a fire risk.

For those wanting to use these in high-moisture environments, Wago makes gel boxes for them, and specifically, again, list them for automotive use: https://www.wago.com/us/discover-wir...lbox-from-wago

Wago specifically says they're suitable for automotive applications. Do you have support for Wagos losing tension over time? I build homes for a living and haven't once seen a faulty Wago in the eight years I've been using them. I can't speak to other brands, but Wagos have been fully reliable for me.

I do more maintenance/repair/addition type work than new construction. They do seem to last several years before it happens which is why folks who work on new construction don't seem to experience the after effects. I don't think I've seen any burned up that were in houses any less than 10 years old, but even with a 10+ year lifespan I don't like to take the risk when the alternatives are so easy and affordable, and the effects of a failure can be so high even if it is several years down the road. Cheap insurance.
