Default pulling the head liner, question about the two sensores

the one above the driver side and the rear passenger side, if i un plug them, will the car still drive ? I would like to pull the head liner to fix it as well as gain access to the sun roofs drains. but dont want to set off any demobilizing of the vehicle. Or should I un plug the battery, then un plug the sensors, pull the head liner and plug the sensors back in and reconnect the battery and still be able to drive the truck around?

Those are ultra sonic sensors that are supposed to detect a break in via smashed window. Uninstalling them will not prevent the truck from running.

I just dropped my headliner and recovered it. I don't recall ever touching any sensors as you described. I have a 04.

Not all trucks have them. They're called "volumetric sensors" in the RAVE.
