Default Pulls to left when braking, can't find solution

So....... since doing brake repair of frozen calipers 9 mos ago, she has been pulling to left (about 6 ft per 50 ft) with medium to moderate brake force. Really jamming on pedal seems to track straight.

What has been done:
all new(rebuilt) calipers
all new rotors
all new pads
new master cylinder
brakes bled multiple times (4-5) on multiple occasions by mechanic

then:
front right and rear left calipers replaced with another set of rebuilt calipers, and NO change to issue

Brake lines tubes are straight without kinks, and braided line extensions are not bulging.

Also: Truck has had several alignments. Frame appears straight. no bent links. all new link bushings. watts super tight. Truck tracks dead straight down the road. No wheel bearing issues or 3 amigos, wheels turn freely on lift, abs works no issues.



It feels like she is not getting full pressure to right side.......is there a hidden proportioning valve somewhere???

All I can think of is the ABS pump somehow not distributing from there I believe it’s just brake lines.

Were they bled with the pump or just by depressing the brakes?

Possibly a restriction or blockage of one of the lines or chambers inside the ABS block?

If you have enough miles you could check the pad wear, it should be pretty close on both sides.

You can check the pressure in the lines at each caliper check brake pressure

I think is your next logical step,then you need to track it backwards from there. The article above will give you the basics

I’ve seen lines fail internally. A good set of SS brake lines is a good idea anyway with just the age alone being a factor.

I noticed better braking after going to Atlantic British Stainless Steel brake lines. Just make sure and have flare nut wrenches to do it, or they strip.

Rotate your tires and test again - at least its free and couldnt hurt

When do you have to bleed the abs unit ? Is it only when doing work on it ?

I have personally had this exact issue fixed by rotating the tires. On a Honda suv and several others

sometimes tires get worn in one way and push or pull the car when braking. Seen it happen on new tires too.
