Default Push EXT & get a never changing 73*F

Every time I push the EXT button on my Disco is reads 73*F, morning and night it doesn't matter. Not a big issue but living in southern Texas my eye's are always on the gauge. Any suggestions?

Thanks

The wire to the temp probe is severed.
You can buy a new temp probe and plug it in yourself.
You will need to go to the dealer to get one though, or if you can find a wrecked DII you can get one from there, as long it was totaled in the @ss.
