Unhappy Quarter Bumper Repair Advice

Greetings!

I've read so many posts from this forum and they have helped me tremendously as I am in my 1st year of ownership of a 2000 Disco II. This is my 1st post to this forum and I'm hoping to get some good feedback on a repair issue.

Today I was backing into a parking space in a parking structure and I went too far back. My rear passenger side quarter bumper got taken off by the steel wires that line the edge of the space and there where 3 white screws laying on the ground along with the quarter bumper.

Can this be popped back into place or does the entire bumper need to be dismantled and reassembled?

Thank you anyone who can provide some solid advice on this!

do you mean the piece that wraps around the corner of the truck just above the bumper itself?
the white "screws" are plastic pieces that push into holes in the body of the truck and then the finisher part slots onto the heads of those. there is a small screw that holds everything in place between the finisher and the bumper, right at the front side.

$0.95 each at Atlantic British... Just did that myself. The lower front tab was broken so no screw but these fasteners hold it fine.

Somewhere on the forums I found the sequence to reinstall the corner piece... Attach fasteners to piece first... Start at the front and work your way around inserting the clips into the body. It takes a bit of pushing and then adjusting once they are all in, watch that your tailgate clears it as you line it up on both ends.

@Bthompson A thin flexible tool like a popsicle stick can help, sometimes you need to nudge the clip a bit to get it in the right place to set it in
