Default question about the compass in the review mirror

When I star the disco up, I once looked up at the display in the review mirror. It looked like what appeared to be a 3-digit display. In fact, it read "100" with other smaller things to the side of it. Is the compass display soley compass display or can it be turned into a thermometer? i'm thinking since there is already an exterior read out in a/c display, there is no need for a second

It is just a compass, no one knows why it shows that little symbol on the self check, "maybe" Land Rover was going to incorperate a Temp readout, but changed their mind.

I wondered about that myself. However, I didn't suspect that it would read temperature; I thought it may be able display magnetic bearings (i.e. 270º or 143º) rather than a simple West or North.

I just went through the same thing. I simply recalabrated it and it quite displaying the "100" and works perfectly. Please refer to this on-line Land Rover Owners's Handbook for directions; it is very easy to do: http://www.ownerinfo.landrover.com/e...prod/index.jsp

Good Luck!
