Default question on the AC drain lines

Was out for a good run today to North Port Florida from Largo. On the trip, turned on the heater. Scalded my brothers leg on the passenger side. It was spitting water out the blower vent. Is this
normal?

When we got home, put the AC on full and only the driver side vent was putting out any fluid on the under side AC drain line. I pulled the passenger side AC drain line plug with the fish eye end.
Nothing came out. Could the line have become disconnected on the condenser under the dash for the passenger side? Is this easy to access? Anyone shed some pics of doing this?

thx a bunch.

I found a pic online of the drain hose on the passenger footwell. mine is connected securely. So, why would water be spitting out of the air vent when on heat?

plan is to hit the drain with some compressed air and see if that frees up the clog...assuming that's what going on with it.

Maybe your heater core is leaking?

I thought that but if that was the case would it not be antifreeze coming out ? what was coming out was clear clean water...just hot when the heater was on.

heavy rain storm during the drive from largo to North Port...20+ accidents along the way. so water incoming in the cowl will do this?

Wouldn't be unheard of. Exterior air intake goes directly in to fan housing, a little water gets in, fan flings it on the heater core which heats it to 180 degrees and then the fan blows it out on your brother. Given the occurence of the heavy rain so close to the water event I would not worry about it, seems like the most likely explanation
