Default Question: Hub-Centric Spacers - how do they center?

I understand the spacers needed for the D2 are "hubcentric", so what on the spacer makes it hubcentric or accomplishes the centering on the hub? I have a pair and they are suppose to be hubcentric, and I cannot get them to center an give me a smooth ride. The center hole on the spacer looks to be pretty much centered, but does not have a shoulder of aluminum that creates a circle on the inside towards the wheel hub that mates up with the hub or anything, and the wheel hub does not extend out far enough to center inside the spacer or touch the spacer at the center opening. The spacer does have a shoulder on the outer side the looks pretty much like the circle that I see coming out from the wheel hub, but the center circle on the spacer does not line-up or rest on any part of the center hub circle on the wheel hub. So, other than looks, I do not see what allows it to center on the hub.

The best way to describe is is that the back surface of the spacer when it mates up to the where the back of the wheel would mate up, the hub circle it lower than that, recessed in towards the center of the vehicle, so the spacer center opening never touches the hub center circle. What am I missing in my understanding or are the spacers I have designed improperly? This is the brand of wheel spacer I have and mine are 30mm or 1.25".

your link does not open by the way, anyway muy understanding the inside of your hubcentric spacer should fit tight against the vehicles hub and the outside of the spacer should fit tight against the inside of the rim. So the hubcentric to self center itself on the vehicle, pllaes do tell me your using those plastic hubcentric.

There should be black plastic circles that slide into the hub bore on the spacer.

The link works for me. The web page is here www.motorsport-tech.com under the BORA truck spacer link on the left side of the web page. I got a response from the vendor and it seems that they sent me the wrong spaces, and that explains why they do not mate up to the hub. Now, in regard to "black plastic circles", I do not have anything like that, just the aluminum spacers with a shoulder around the outer edge of the center opening facing out to the wheel. As I understand it from my email from the vendor the center opening should sit down around the hub bore to allow it to center as I had thought it should. I am sending them back and they are going to to send me the correct spacers.

Now are you saying there should be a black plastic circular tube of sorts that creates the alignment that fits in the opening on the spacer and centers it back on the hub bore of the vehicle?

OK, I do understand how this is suppose to work. Took a look at a couple videos on youTube. The black circles should not be needed to make the hub line-up. The aluminum spacer is to be the exact fit to the hub and the outer shoulder functioning like the factory hub on the wheel. I should of done a little more research, thanks for you advise.

Have you been happy with the Bora spacers?

I'm thinking about getting a set of 4 50mm spacers (back for looks, front for turning radius with my wider tires). I like the Bora because they are BOTH hub and wheel centric and seem tick off all boxes.
