My Radio broke on my 1996 Land Rover Discovery and I got another one just like it on ebay. But the code # 14423 that I had is not working on this radio, any advise do you guys have any codes that may work with this radio

 

The code is specific to the individual radio, not the vehicle. Every radio has it's own individual unlock code. Take the radio out. Write down the serial number on the back. Call your local LR dealership and give them the serial number. They will look up the code for that radio.

 

They may not beable to find the code for that radio because it is so old, but it is worth a shot.
The seller should have gave you the code.

 

I gave the VIN# of my Disco to Land Rover of Dallas and they gave me the code at no charge over the phone. So they should be able to do it with the radio serial # too? If your local Dealer can't/won't do it you can also try this guy. He does mainly Jap cars but maybe able to get a LR radio code? He usually charges $20 to your paypal account.
