Could someone tell me how to enter the radio code in my 96 Disco. I think I tried to enter the wrong code after a battery change and it locked out. Do you just turn the radio on and enter the 5 digit code?

 

thats what i did. i missed it 3 times in a row though. If this happens just turn the key to on without starting the engine, and let it sit for 15min, then try again.

 

sit for 1 hour on mine, 98

 

Ive done that and I just get code flashing Ive phoned LR and they have told me the code is correct. How long should I let the code flash before I try to re enter the 5 digit number or is another option available. I dont think Ill be removing the battery anytime soon
