Have a 98 disco. Radio is Dead. Steps leading to death are below.

Radio was in anti-theft mode.
Battery was disconnected, then reconnected.
Radio was blank.
Left key in ON position for about 1 and 1/2 hours while radio was set to ON.
Radio was still blank.
Removed radio and replaced fuse on back, and checked all connections.
Placed key in ON position for about 1 and 1/4 hours while radio was set to ON.
Radio still blank.

Any ideas? It was working before. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I would have thought if it was locked in anti theft mode there would still be some sort of display. Give this a go http://www.elecsys.com/layouts.htm

 

Update:

started land rover this morning..radio was asking for code, put the code in, radio worked, drove for about 10 min..radio shut off and wouldnt turn back on....and the saga continues...any help is appreciated thanks.
