Default Radio Size

Hello everybody. This is my first time posting and would like your help. I am trying to figure out what size the radio in my 01 disco ii is. It looks to be 1.5 din. Anyone know for sure? And has anyone ever seen or dropped a double din in a disco? Thanks

ive got a 2003 and even though it looks like a 1.5, its a normal sized din. The face is the only thing that makes it look over sized. When you pull it out, you will see what im talking about.

Sorry for that other post. I wanted to add that you can also purchase a factory trim piece from the dealer that will cover up the area that the face of the old factory unit covered up. I just installed an Alpine HU and it looks really clean.
