Seals? yes, Three for the transfer case. Two are the same. one is different. Loosen the output flange nuts before removal.....

Thx for reply! I have to go to harbor freight and get this jack. it has a 17" max , and 19" lift with the two adapters. A little wood and it should work for me. Would be good for transmission too .....

to center the transfer case on to the transmission output shaft, there are 3(?) studs. two 6" and one 9"? i think. studs go into tail end of transmission where the transfer case bolts were. Slide the transfer case off or on to the studs and it makes locating much easier. Not really necessary, but helps you from screwing up the input seal.....
I just ordered a set of 5 200mm stainless studs off ebay for ~24$ in what I hope is the correct thread size (m10 x 1.5 ).....two will be cut down to necessary length..
