It is lifted now. I did a terrafirma 3" lift with the 4 stage shocks which I'm digging. I can't remember if I did the transfer case before or after I did the lift. I know I had it up on 4 jack stands though.

Are there any seals necessary to have on hand when removing and reinstalling?

Thx for reply! I have to go to harbor freight and get this jack. it has a 17" max , and 19" lift with the two adapters. A little wood and it should work for me. Would be good for transmission too .....

Seals? yes, Three for the transfer case. Two are the same. one is different. Loosen the output flange nuts before removal.....

I think it'd work for the transmission. It works great for my harley at about 900lbs. Shouldn't have an issue with the transmission. It's a nice jack!

I just ordered a set of 5 200mm stainless studs off ebay for ~24$ in what I hope is the correct thread size (m10 x 1.5 ).....two will be cut down to necessary length..

Here is a picture of the bolts I used. Got them at Home Depot and cut the head of the bolt off. About 4 inches long I'd say. I only used 2 and it worked just fine. Screw them in 2-4 full turns by hand was all I could get them in and it was fine.
