My rover threw a MAF code...I cleaned it and cleaned the filter..it's been running great since. If you're going to buy a new MAF anyways what does it hurt to try and clean the old one?

also, I agree about ditching the k&n

y0u cleaned the D2 MAF? the D1 u can def clean but i never heard of anyone cleaning a D2 and having it work properly for more than a week or two

yeah it was my D2. It was a few weeks ago but I don't put many miles on it so I guess we'll see if it works or not.

Don't waste your time trying to clean it, won't help and use only factory paper air filters not after market one.

Just got off of the phone ordering a factory MAF and air filter.thanks to everyone for all of the info ,Craig.

make sure when you get it, it is in the white and green Land Rover box.

I ordered it from Atlantic British or rover parts , they said it was a genuine part so maybe it will be the correct one. It was defiantly more expensive than the other ones that I found.
