Default Rear AC question

Hi Guys,

I have been converting my 98LSE into an SE7 using parts from my wrecked 96 SE7. Moving the jumpseats around was straightforward and I have installed the rear AC ducting into the other vehicle. The wiring is also pre-existing and can just be plugged in. The rear blower and and AC unit itself seems easy enough to move over but I am no sure about the line form the compressor. How should I drain and are the compressors different? Essentially what is the complete process to transfer that line? Appreciate the help.

Do you have all the A/C lines from the wrecked vehicle, should be able to see where they were routed and how to connect them up under the hood. The same compressor is used for both systems. You will need to bleed of the old freon, hook up the lines, pump down the system to get rid on any moisture then reoil and charge the system.
Should be a sticker under the hood of the wrecked truck showing how much freon to reinstall, usually about one pound extra with the dual A/C.

With rear AC it takes 1150g of R134a and 180ml of oil.

Is the compressor for the SE7 different from the LSE?

From all the shop info that I have, its looks like the
compressors are the same.
The pluming is what makes it work.
My compressor on my SE7 look just like any other LR with
out rear AC.
