It fits with a 1 gallon tank. A 3 gallon tank might fit too. The compressors in this class are essentially all the same design, so most of them would fit.

I like the design and I'm curious where the compressor's intake is and I wanted to add it to where the diff breather hoses are! Id like to be able to drive up to the doors in water.

The tube is routed to the driver side tail light ( used a longer one about 10 ft, not the one in the pic), the intake filter sits above the tail light, so plenty of wading depth.

Awesome! I'm excited to start this project! I do have a quick question about the quality of the compressor, A lot of online reviews for the compressor have noted that it tended to fail after a few uses and would get quite hot fast. Do you have these issues?

I have used it several times now, mainly for inflating air mattresses (which takes a long time) on a trip each night. All compressors get hot. I got rid of the fancy plastic trims, which make it look cool but they cover the head and its cooling fins (stupid idea). The compressor has an internal shut-off switch which prevents it from overheating. The main reason I used this cheapo is because I already had it. You can get more expensive brands of this type, but the design is more or less the same for all.

VIAIR makes some nice compressors that are on the cheaper end. I have one of the smaller ones that is like $60 maybe for airing up my tires that I've been kicking around mounting permanently as a way to save some space. But then I feel real silly for having two mounted compressors in the white truck....for anyone that gets air lockers get the high output single ARB compressor so you can use it to fill your tires. I was on a major budget crunch when I did the rear locker so the cheaper small ARB is what I went with an I highly regret it.
