Rear bumper cover removal
I have a busted rear bumper cover on my 2000 Disco II. I have a replacement cover and want to do the work myself. Does anyone know how tough of a job this is or maybe some details on how to do the job?
Thanks Jafir. What a great resource. DiscoMike, I had not crawled under it before posting the thread. I have now and feel a bit foolish. It does look pretty easy. I guess I was a little intimidated by the thought of doing it. Thanks for the help.
has anyone taken off the bumper cover and just painted the inner bumper? those stupid covers are SO damn expensive... not to mention the front COWLING to windshield that breaks.. Ive replaced 2 of them... I think my next I'm going to support with a thin sheet of fiberglass.. thats ridiculous they break like that ... lol

I took my windshield cowl off when it broke and just left it off. I covered up the inside air intake with some plastic I had so it could still breathe from the bottom but wouldn't get water from the top. Works perfectly.
