My rear door lock stopped unlocking a while back. It would lock with with key fob. I tore into the rear door too see how hard it would be to replace and decided to unplug and replug in case there was a bad contact. After plugging it back in, nothing happens with the key fob or the switch on the dash. Now I unlock the door from the inside. Did I miss a reset when I did this. Also, how involved is replacing this device?

 

It is a project to replace it especially the first time you do one. Door lock actuators go bad all the time.

2004 D2 with 120k miles

 

My driver side rear door went out a while back. It did not affect the drive so I did not worry about it. Then mysteriously it started working again. I think my truck is messing with me.

 

I am having the same issue with all of my doors except the drivers door. I can lock them with the key in the drivers door, but can not unlock any of them with the key, door, or CDL switch. I have posted about it, but haven't heard much back on where to start.
