Default Rear Flood Light Modification

Added some upgrades to the rear end this summer. I took the wires from the stock rear additional light switch that comes with the D2 (what are they for) and added some LED floods that shoot out the back and off to each side.
They are nicely tucked away on either side of the tow hitch. Very stoked as they light up my camp site for set up at night plus allow me to see the back end on both sides for night time backup in the bush.
They are tucked in tight so they don't smash on rocks or logs while wheeling.
wiring-free (already in there)
lights- $39.99 eBay

Had to bend a couple pieces of metal for the mounts and drill some holes.

Looks good! Those are the same lights I was going to get when I replaced my back bumper but I hadn't decided where to mount them yet. Thanks!

Nice, yes my plan was to chop the bumper up and mount them in there but I like the idea of them shooting on an angle out each side.

"…stock rear additional light switch…"
What's this? Do elaborate.

I believe he means the rear fog lights, which sit directly beside the reverse lights in the same housing.

Yes, I'm talking about that rear fog light that isn't really a fog light as it's red. But regardless, it works well for giving you custom options on rear fogs or floods. All I did was cut the wires and re jig them to work with my led floods. They will only work when the headlights are on.

It's a custom 2x4 square steel tube bumper.

Could you post more shots of the rear of your truck from further away? Curious to see the red circle lights mounted just above the bumper.

And I'm curious about that 2x4 steel bumper. I'm in the market for a rear and that might be right up my alley.
