Default Rear jump seats won't fold up

Looks like my '01 has had the jump seats down (as seats) for a while now. They won't go back into storage mode in two different ways. If there are any hints here, especially with photos, I'd love to hear them.

Both will fold down their backs, so that's ok.

One side will retract from the floor, but won't articulate that second bend (closer to the wall). What linkage should I poke under the seat to get it to go? I see a green handle on a moving linkage, but it did't help.

The other side won't retract from the floor. I've tried sitting on it to get it really low, but no, still won't budge.

TIA.

To pull up from the floor you're supposed to twist the handle, but it doesn't always work very easily, so sometimes I just pull the strap. As far as folding into the side, they fold the opposite way I thought they should. The don't fold up from the middle, they fold up from the outside.

Yeah, I read through the manual. Just isn't unlocking the one side from the floor, and the other side isn't folding. Argh.

Sometimes they get stuck from lack of use spray some lube on them and use a small screw driver to make the lock release you will have to pull the little strap at same time. Sorry no picture buddy.

Thanks for that link. This forum continues to impress. The seat that would raise up but not fold, I got it by figuring out the lock mechanism underneath and prying it with a screwdriver. The other side is getting some penetrating spray on it to get it going.

Anytime buddy, when you have been tinkering with these trucks as long as some of us have there are not many things that we have not experienced a time or two.
