I am also having a problem with my rear seat the longer of the split with the middle seat included. If you know what i mean. I folded it down the other day and have not been ale to get the thing back into the upright position. The middle seat belt locked up and is not letting any more of the belt out. Any ideas on that . I took the back of the seat off and looked at the belt retraction unit for a release but for none. Any Ideas would be great Thanks.

This sounds like a problem I had with my wifes Volvo. When I put the seat down it would suck too much of the seat belt in because it was missing a little plastic rivet that holds the seat belt from going in. The only way to fix it was to unbolt the end of the seat belt from the floor. When I got it back to the upright position the seat belt released and I was able to pull more belt out. Then I just bolted it back to the floor and it was a done deal. I ordered the rivet from Volvo and havent had a problem since. My Disco has a center lap belt so there's been no probem with it.
